The CMO Coach

What's the difference between an internal coach and an external coach?

External coaches are truly neutral

Internal coaches can be helpful, but they're still part of the system. They often have internal loyalties, visibility into company politics, and limitations on what they can challenge.

As an external coach, I have no agenda. No history. No stake in anything except your success. That neutrality creates space for the real conversations, the ones you won't have in-house.

Confidentiality, candour, and courage

You'll get honesty from me. Not sugar-coating. Not spin. Because I'm outside your world, I can help you zoom out and see things more clearly, challenge your assumptions, and get to the root of what's holding you back.

That level of candour is rare inside the walls of a business.

I've sat in your seat

I've worked at the executive level in complex, high-growth, global businesses, and I still do. I've built brands, led turnarounds, managed politics, and made hard calls. I bring that lived experience to the table, something internal coaches usually can't.

If you want real growth, you need a coach who's not in the system, but understands how it works.
