The short answer
Send HR a short, specific request with the programme summary attached. Name the programme, the cost and what you’ll leave with, and ask them to confirm in writing before you pay.
Check whether your budget has a deadline, and send it early.

Subject: Using my outplacement budget for Career Fast Track
Hi [name],
I’d like to use my outplacement budget for Career Fast Track, a seven-week programme for senior marketing leaders run by Andrew Garrihy, The CMO Coach and Group CMO of OLX. It costs £800, with no VAT, and covers my value proposition, career story, CV, interview preparation and job search plan.
A one-page summary is here: https://cmocoach.co/career-fast-track/for-employers/
I’ll pay directly and submit the invoice for reimbursement. Could you confirm this is approved?
Thanks,
[name]
If you haven't signed your settlement agreement
Ask for Career Fast Track to be named in the outplacement clause. A request made during the negotiation is far easier to agree than one made afterwards.
What happens next
Once HR confirms, join the waiting list on the Career Fast Track page. When you pay, I’ll send you an invoice in your name for the full £800, showing your employer if HR needs it.
Everything HR needs is on one page, and everything you need starts with the waiting list.
